What do you think of the Harties Cableway?
The Harties Cableway officially opened to the public on Saturday July 7. Visitors enjoyed blue skies and clear views of the Hartbeespoort Dam and surrounds, while exploring the facilities at the top.
Here's what they had to say in response to the question, "What do you think of the Harties Cableway?"
Celeste Swanton and Ryan Faragher: "It’s awesome. The ride up was very smooth and the staff are very friendly!"
Tian Haasbroek and Catherine Nienaber: "The people here are fantastic! It’s really beautiful up here."
Tammy and Riaan Kloppers: "Very nice – and the info boards [on the walkway] are very helpful and interesting."
Logan Bartholomew and Sarah Casey: "It’s great!" Says Logan, "My favourite part was coming up and seeing the view!"
The Firaz family: "There is so much to see! The cable car was great."
Ivor Hoff: "This is my first time – I didn’t go up the old cableway. This is such a new experience. I could almost compare it to a European experience. I’ve been up a couple of cableways overseas, in Brazil and Switzerland, and I would rate [the Harties Cableway] as being up there with them! The views are amazing."
Enrico and Grizelda Traut: Says Enrico, "It’s my birthday today! It’s awesome up here – really neat, very friendly people. Wonderful."
